What Is Freedom?

Yesterday,I was asked by one of the people I hold space with:
“What is freedom? And how do I know ...?”
I paused. I didn’t want to answer from thought or theory.
So I waited. I listened. And in the stillness, the Divine Instructors responded:
“Freedom is freedom from the things that bind you.”
It landed like a sacred whisper, both ancient and alive.
And I knew—freedom is not the absence of responsibility.
It’s not an escape from our lives.
It’s the quiet unraveling of all that keeps us bound.
Freedom comes when we are no longer chained to what was—
to the pain, the patterns, the promises we made in fear., to the very idea of what we think we need.
It’s a loosening. A remembering. A return.
I was made to understand:
Freedom is a state of soul.
To be free is to no longer be held hostage by the things that once held you.
And there’s another piece I’ve come to see more clearly now—
We strive so often to be unique, to be different, to stand out.
But true uniqueness doesn’t come from distancing ourselves from what inspires us.
It doesn’t come from rebelling against someone else’s brilliance
or proving that we are not like them. That we are in essence "different"
True uniqueness is born from depth—
from our intimate, living relationship with what stirs us.
It is the sacred integration of what calls to us and what roots us.
We are not copies when something awakens a recognition in us.
We are not imposters when a path feels familiar, or a symbol feels like home.
We are simply in communion with something that wants to live again—
through us, in our way, with our essence shaping it anew.
Freedom is not in proving you are unlike anyone else.
Freedom is in knowing that your becoming is sovereign,
even when it is sparked by something once seen before.
A Soul Reminder, from me to you:
There is no shame in resonance.
Let what moves you, move through you.
Let it root deeper, not in imitation, but in intimacy, in continuous building relationship with that what stirs us.
You are not a shadow of another.
You are a becoming—
sacred, sincere, and entirely your own.

💙With much love, authenticity, freedome and uniqueness: Pauline 💙
With devotion,
In remembrance,
And in the quiet light of becoming—
Freedome.
Freedom not from this world, but within it.
Free in the dome of my own sacred mind.
Free to think, to feel, to be.
Free in the temple of my soul, where no imitation can live—only intimacy, only truth.
This is the kind of freedom that cannot be taken.
Only remembered.
Only reclaimed.
---I'll show you 💙
