I Sat in the Bowl of Stillness

There are moments when the body becomes the prayer. When silence ripples outward from the heart, and light answers back.

In this sacred stillness, I did not reach outward.

I placed one hand on the gateway of breath, the other on the temple of knowing—

And I remembered.

I remembered that stillness is not the absence of movement, but the presence of something vaster, waiting to be felt.

This is the place where energy listens.

Where the bowl beneath me becomes more than metal—

It becomes an anchor.

A stabilizer for the light I carry.

A sanctified seat where the unseen becomes embodied.

This moment was not posed.

It arrived.

And in it, I heard the whisper :

“Anchor the light. Be the vessel. Trust the current.”

And as this sacred stillness wrapped itself around me, the day gently revealed its deeper meaning—

It is Mother’s Day.

Not merely a day to celebrate , but a holy day.

A day that sings of birth, of becoming, of the divine force that brings spirit into form.

I am treating, reminding, and loving all the mothers I meet—

and the men, too—those whose hands have steadied, whose hearts have nurtured, whose eyes have seen with tenderness.

Those who have midwifed ideas, held space for others to grow, created beauty from pain, and poured themselves into the act of caring, often unseen.

Mothering and this day to me is not defined by biology or circumstance.

It is the act of creation.

A sacred architecture of holding, nourishing, and giving life—

to a child, a vision, a home, a healing, a hope.

It is a vibration. A quiet power.

A soft place that endures.

A threshold that brings the unseen into being—again and again and again.

To those who have mothered through their touch, their presence, their prayers—

To those who are healing their own mother-wounds, or learning to mother themselves for the first time—

To those whose wombs have birthed, and to those whose wombs are woven in light—

Today, I honor you 🫶

I see the altar of your existence.

I bless the light you anchor, and the love you create simply by being here.

May this day pour over you like sunlight through trees.

May your own heart be tended as tenderly as you tend to others.

And may you remember this: you are not only a vessel of life—

You are life.

Therefore, I sit in the bowl of stillness for ALL.

And I send this bliss-ing forward like a ripple—

May it reach the shore of your spirit, and your steadfast heart with gentleness, grace, and the quiet roar of being deeply, eternally loved.
