Are Dragons🐉still in existence?

A Mystical Teaching from the Threshold Between Worlds

By Pauline | Channeling the Divine

There is a question that drifts on the breath of myth—before my slumber:

soft, & ancient as stars:

Then came a soft answer: Cats.

Are cats dragons?

Not just because of their eyes—

but because of what their eyes see.

Their pupils are not simply for the dark.

They are slits of sorcery. Gateways.

Ancient glyphs that whisper of other realms.

Where others see silence, I see guardianship.

Where others see sleep, I see stillness woven with power.

Cats and dragons share no bloodline, but they share a purpose.

To guard thresholds.

To sense unseen tides.

To bless and to watch.

They do not come when called.

They come when summoned by soul.

They sleep upon your sorrow.

They track the shadows in your room.

They blink slowly and say: You are safe.

Two seated in the archway.

A light behind them, as if they guard not a hallway but a portal.

This is how dragons appear now.

Not with wings, but with whiskers.

Not in caves, but at the foot of your bed.

Watching.

Blessing.

Waiting for you to remember.

“The keepers of my being when I go into slumber.”

The white Bengal, marked by celestial frost, whispers: Your field is sealed. All is aligned. You may now begin. The Golden Abyssinian, fierce and radiant, declares: Only truth may pass. Only light may remain. Together they guard the liminal space.

When I sleep, and retire -I am never alone.  After a long day of serving—of holding space, of listening deeply, of offering light to many—

they are the first to greet me when I return home.

Not with fanfare, but with presence.

Not with questions, but with anchoring.

They circle me as I exhale.

They crawl onto my chest, settle at my crown, or tuck into the curve of my back.

And without words, they begin their work—

realigning, weaving, resetting the rhythm of my spirit.

They are the ones who prepare me for the next day.

They are the ones who hold my body while my soul swims in other realms.

I am watched. Guarded. Loved.

By dragons who walk on paws and breathe not fire
 but peace.

Their purrs are not sounds.

They are spells—vibrations that soothe the nervous system and remind the bones of something older than memory.

🜂 The Hidden Lineage Between Cats and Dragons

A Teaching from the Realms of Memory and Myth

In esoteric traditions and cosmic memory fields, bloodlines are not always defined by DNA.

Some are marked by frequency, by function, and by form that mirrors origin.

Both cats and dragons:

‱ Have vertical slit pupils—a sign of creatures who move between dimensions of light and shadow.

‱ Walk with utter silence, moving like breath through the veil.

‱ Carry elemental powers—dragons with fire, air, water, and earth
cats with intuition, shadow sight, and time-walking.

‱ Guard thresholds—be it caves of gold or the edges of the dream realm.

In the Dragon Scrolls of Lemuria (those that whisper, not those that are written)

It is said that when dragons chose to retreat from the visible realms, some folded themselves into smaller, subtler forms—taking on a body that could live among humans yet remain sovereign.

Some became wind.

Some became stones.

And some became cats.

Their pupil shape is a remnant of their light calibration system—adjusting instantly between density and brilliance, just as dragons did when flying between the realms of Earth and Ether.

In Babylonian and Filipino myth, the link deepens:

‱ In Babylon, Bastet (Egypt’s cat-headed goddess) held not just feline energy, but was associated with fire, war, and protection—traits of a dragon matron.

‱ In pre-colonial Filipino lore, certain shamans spoke of “spirit watchers” with glowing eyes that appeared as cats by day and fiery beasts by night.

In Chinese cosmology, dragons were never beasts of evil. They were wise, elemental, and often shape-shifters. Some folklore even tells of dragons who took cat form to watch over monks in silent temples.

So—do they share a bloodline?

Not in the way a biologist would recognize.

But in the way a Mystic, a Babaylan, a Seer of Lightline Memory would?

Yes.

Their eyes are slits not just for vision—

but for precision through dimension.

Their bodies small,

but their energy ancient.

So the next time one curls at your feet,

or stares into the dark corner you dare not enter—

know this:

You are in the presence of a dragon.

Softened. Silent. Sacred.

But still a dragon. 🐉

I am deeply grateful for their Yes in their mission.

This is to give them my biggest grace.
