The old ways of tending and returning

In healing and learning, this might be the quiet truth:
healing is not something we “finish.”
We do not clean our homes once and declare them forever clean.
We do not wash our hands once and call it complete.
We do not do the laundry a single time and expect it to last a lifetime.
Healing is no different.
We tend, we return, we care again and again.
Over time, the movements softens and it does get easier.
The effort lessens.
The pauses come more naturally and your body remembers the way.
And perhaps this is the part no one glamorizes:
it does not end.
Healing ...... it matures into a better relationship to self.
The practice remains because we are alive.
This is the kind of tending I was taught by the old ways—
not to finish the path, but to tend it with you with reverence and deep care again and again.
Today, I found myself then again enjoying the idea of being "off" and I guess even I., am asked to show up again and again... much better than the other time I thought I was "off" ...
Here's the thing... Healing is showing up mostly for yourself in service of others.
Let's continue!
With Divine Love, discernment and depth beyond the mind,
Rev. Pauline
