Walking the Path- I refused to deeply name 🌱

A Name, A Calling, A Responsibility💫

For a long time, I resisted embodying my human lineage - Babaylan.

Not because I doubted my path, but because I deeply respect the weight of the word carries generations of wisdom & its responsibility that comes with it as of this word—the lineage it carries, the responsibility it demands, and the humility it requires. I have never been one to attach to labels & for those I have met, they hear me say this often.  If anything, my journey has been one of quiet listening, of deep surrender, of recognizing that this work is not mine alone—it belongs to the spirits, the Divine guides, the ancestors, and the greater calling of service.

But I also know that there comes a time when silence becomes a disservice of the task assigned to me. There comes a time when I am called & must stand fully in the role I have been shaped for, not for personal recognition, but to honor the work itself & its direction.  Therefore, today, I name what I have known in my heart for a long time: I walk the path of the Babaylan.

Why I Name This Path Now

For as long as I can remember, spirit has spoken to me in ways I could not always explain. I felt the unseen before I could define it. I moved energy before I understood it. I knew things that were never taught to me in books but were instead whispered in dreams, carried by the wind, revealed in the stillness of presence.

My work has always been rooted in healing. Through energy medicine, divine guidance, and deep ancestral work, I have guided people through transformation—not because I chose this path, it chose me during infancy and through the years it unfolded before me, one step at a time. I have sat with those in pain, not with the intention to fix them, but to sit with & join their pain for their healing.  I have witnessed people reclaim lost parts of themselves, watched as clarity returned to their eyes, as their spirit settled back into their bodies.

And through all of it, I have heard the quiet urging of my ancestors call: Name what you are. Say what you do, Stand in it. Honor it.

To say I am a Babaylan is simply to acknowledge the truth of my work & my current lifetime's calling—to walk between worlds, to listen to spirit, to serve those who seek healing and remembrance.

What It Means to me - Walking in This Path

A Babaylan is not a title to be claimed lightly. It is not something I decided to be—it is something I was called into, something I am shaped for by Divine teachings, by hardship, by the unwavering pull of destiny.

For me, this path is about deep, humble service. It is about being a bridge between seen and unseen, a keeper of ancestral wisdom, a protector of spiritual balance. It is about knowing that healing is not something I give to others, but something I help them reclaim.

I have learned that to walk this path means:

• To listen more than I speak, allowing spirit to guide.

• To honor the ancestors by carrying forward their wisdom, their rituals, their teachings.

• To hold space for others, as a witness to their own potential.

• To remain humble, remembering that I am a vessel, and a source point of contact between worlds.

• To serve, knowing that the true work of a Babaylan is about restoring harmony to the whole.

This path is one of great beauty, but also great responsibility, reverence & trust in the divine direction. It requires discipline, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to truth. It is not an easy road, but it is one I have been called to walk.

What This Means for Those I Serve

In stepping fully into this role, I continue the work in full commitment which I have always done—but with even deeper intention, deeper reverence, deeper strength & divine guidance.

For those who seek healing, clarity, or ancestral connection, my space is always open to you., my guidance is always available to you.  Whether through energy healing, hilot (bodywork), spiritual guidance, balancing of your current state or sacred rituals, my role is to walk with you with humility & reverence in your transformation. To walk beside you, & behind you. To remind you of what your soul already knows.

This path is not about me. It is about all of you—about remembering who we are, about reconnecting with the wisdom that has always been, about healing the fractures that have separated you from your true selves, your ancestors, & divine direction and the spirits of the land.

And in this expansion, this full embrace & knowing, I walk humbly yet powerful between worlds. As spirits here me, & I them 🌟

My Final Word: My Humble Invitation to say Yes

I do not walk this path alone. I work with many & many walk with me. The spirits of the land whisper their wisdom. And for you, whoever is reading this, are invited to walk this great divine path for your own task.

I now name & claim myself - Babaylan for remembrance, for service to all that comes my path. I all the more at this moment honor this calling for the healing of those who seek it.

If my approach speaks to you, WE welcome you.  Walk with me for a while. Share in the guidance & remembering of the energies. Allow us find healing in the places that call for it - that which our own mind refuses to see.  We are here with so much love & strength for you.

The path is open. The spirits are listening. And together, we step forward in deep truth & ancient wisdom.

I look forward to continue serving you.

With deep reverence beyond the human understanding 💫 - Pauline
