Where Stillness Rises, and the Spirit Reminds Us We Are Home
Sunday, I officially opened The Shelter of the Wayward One.
We gathered. We anchored.
And the space was claimed by Spirit.
Stillness rose, the Dove revealed its sign,
and in quiet ways the reweaving began.
When all was done, the stillness remained.
Each one carried forth their own threads,
processing in the quiet places of body and spirit.
I, too, sat in that afterglow—
noticing how silence holds more than words,
how the room itself continued to breathe,
how what was received continues to ripple outward.
The work does not end when the circle closes.
It lingers. It unfolds.
It moves through us long after the sound has faded.
And even when the outcome isn’t what the human mind imagined,
love in service is never wasted.
To serve is to surrender—not to results, but to resonance.
To trust that energy is always settling, always shifting,
and that nothing is ever truly fixed.
We shift. The path shifts.
And so does the medicine that finds its way through us.
And as if to affirm it all, Spirit revealed its own sign.
The Dove—symbol of the Holy Spirit, the living blueprint of the soul—
was quietly present everywhere.
Affixed upon the wall, rays of light streaming behind it.
Placed into my hands as the token I was guided to gift each new participant.
And woven into the names, the gestures, even the simple choices of those who came.
Synchronicities too clear to dismiss,
as though whispering: Yes, you are held. Yes, you are guided.
In the days that followed, another new face arrived.
After our session ended, he shared quietly:
“As soon as your hands rested upon my head,
my mind grew quiet—and peace entered where restlessness once lived.”
Before leaving, he asked if he could give me a hug.
It was not an ordinary embrace—
but the kind that speaks without words:
Thank you for bringing me here. I am home.
After this, I felt I needed to pause my day before continuing—
to honor the depth of what had just unfolded,
to sit with the weight of presence,
and to let the medicine breathe through me too.
And no matter how true life shows me differently,
there is always so much more unfolding—
layers of work beyond what my eyes can see
or my mind can comprehend in the moment.
This is why I allow, follow, and trust what’s to come.
The reweaving has begun,
The Shelter stands,
and in stillness, I continue to trust.
In love and in Spirit—we are home.

A Note on What’s Ahead
The plan was to offer these 🙌 gatherings twice a month.
Yet, as I felt the intensity of how the energy arrived, Sunday,
I am led to restructure this offering. To assimilate the settling of the energy,
We will gather ones a month an intimate gathering, comfortably accommodating 9 participants.
The Shelter of the Wayward One will have its offering website.
In turn, beginning on October,
a monthly Group Reiki will also be offered— by featured practitioner.
a space for collective healing and shared practice.
Keep an eye for more updates and energetic expansion,
as the unfolding continues to shape the way we gather.
